Parametric modeling in the native viewport: sketch, loft, assemble; interference and mass measured by the kernel, not eyeballed.

Sun–planet is essentially clean (check_gear_mesh PASS, Lewis 37 MPa vs operator 327 MPa, margin 5.89). Two more clashes: housing through-bore vs the Ø24 sun boss (3023 mm³), and pins still nick the pocket floor (151 mm³).

Acetal fails this load (Lewis FAIL at a 1/3-tensile derate). Theoretical backlash is zero — running clearance has to come from tooth thinning, not center distance.

Sizing receipts are in docs/planetary-6to1-sizing.md. Next fix is the ring profile; say if you want that first or the housing bore.

Bundled KiCad and ngspice do the real work: capture, layout, DRC and SPICE, every rule check landing as a verdict card, not a log line.

Check 6 claims a 5.0 V ±2% fixed-accuracy rail while the schematic wires the part as adjustable. Check 9’s ILIM equation constant (6400) is 10× off the DRV8871 datasheet’s 64,000.

CFD · Analysis

Full CFD: solve and see the flow.

OpenFOAM® runs on your machine, and fields land on the canvas as layers (surface, streamlines, slices) with the evidence beside the picture; a solve that did not converge says so.

Re-exporting the t = 1 wake GLB with an |U| isosurface at 0.6 of the measured max, keeping the same streamlines and mid-plane slices.

Re-exported sim/cube-flow/U-wake.field.glb at t = 1. Same streamlines and two mid-plane slices; added iso_0 at |U| = 0.788 m/s (0.6 × 1.313). Surface is hidden so you see the envelope. Because the walls are no-slip, |U| = 0.788 is a core-flow tube; the wake is the indentation where speed drops below that value.
